Cape Home

Completed fall 2001.

1800 sf. high posted cape with open floor plan. Ell accomodates a kitchen featuring a soaring timberframe ceiling. Build-out enclosure creates a well insulated home, with rain-screen siding construction for a low-maintenance exterior. Cordwood harvested from the nearby woods fires the high-efficiency wood boiler which runs the radiant floor heat, nearly eliminating the need for costly, non-renewable heating fuel.
