A wonderful collaboration with Kaplan Thompson Architects highlighting our exceptional timber framing skills, Studio 84 came out of the early pandemic as supplementary living and play space to complement an existing shared family home on Quahog Bay in Harpswell, Maine. Featuring a flexible main space with an overlooking DJ/workout balcony, this building also houses a bath with steam shower, pottery studio with screen porch, workshop, library, family room and bunk rooms. The all-electric heating and cooling loads have offsets from the new solar panels on the house.
